The NHK Osaka Hall is a multipurpose event hall that can be used for various stage productions, including program recording, concerts, musicals, drama, and cultural events. In the spacious seating, audience can enjoy the immersive sound and the essence of performing arts.
The hall accommodating approx. 1,400 persons is fit for full-scale entertainment performances such as scenic elements with unique production effects, and provides fusion of broadcasting, history, and culture as the facility complex with the BK Plaza and neighboring Osaka Museum of History. As a symbol of the "Open NHK," a base for disseminating culture and art incorporating international cultural exchange, the hall creates various production spaces including public broadcasting of programs produced by NHK, concerts of various musical genres, traditional performing arts unique to Kansai, drama, or symposium.
