The Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau has joined Biocommunity Kansai!
Working to bring biotech conferences and events to Osaka.
The Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau has joined Biocommunity Kansai, or BiocK, an organization dedicated to making Osaka and the Kansai region an international hub for the biotechnology and life science industries. BiocK is a collaborative effort among research institutions, local governments, pharmaceutical companies, and more to further research and development in everything ranging from pharmaceuticals to energy resources.
The Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau aims to contribute to Osaka’s development by bringing in more meetings and events in the biotech industry.
What is Biocommunity Kansai (BiocK)?
BiocK as well as the Greater Tokyo Biocommunity (GTB) have been certified by the Cabinet Office of Japan as global communities strategically planned to expand the biotech markets. Achieving a sustainable society, spreading the concept of bio-first, and forming a global biocommunity are the goals that form the overarching vision of BiocK, which aims to create the ultimate ecosystem for the biotech and biological science industries, based in the Kansai region.
