1st Japan Clean Air Expo

Announcing the first Japan Clean Air Expo!

Clean air for people and for the Earth.

Time: Tuesday, March 15- Wednesday, March 16, 2022

Place: INTEX Osaka

With a theme of promoting clean air for people and for the Earth, the Clean Air Expo brings together ideas ranging from air conditioning and ventilation products that promote clean air for the indoors, to environmentally-focused technologies that engage in the removal of CO₂ emissions and furthering green initiatives.

The Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau actively works towards achieving the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We aim to promote sustainable tourism such as by implementing accessible resources and infrastructure for all people or reducing food waste, and so we are proud to be sponsors of the Japan Clean Air Expo.

The Japan Clean Air Expo has set three specific goals to be an environmentally-friendly event:

1) A zero-emissions event, by setting concrete goals to achieve carbon-neutrality.

2) A recycle-friendly event. by drastically reducing waste from individual booths and by reusing and recycling materials.

3) A paper-free/ reduced paper event, by drastically reducing the paper materials used and actively pushing for the use of recycled paper.

What to see at this event:

1) Technology promoting peace of mind in indoor air conditioning and ventilation.

2) Environmentally-focused ideas and technology to increase the practice of greener actions.

3) Tips for contributing to the realization of the SDGs and to combat climate change.
