Namba Square is a pedestrian's paradise, and is now available as outdoor event space!

As a bustling transportation hub and Osaka's vibrant center of shopping and entertainment, Namba is a must-visit location to experience the best that Osaka has to offer. A dramatic transformation has taken place in front of Namba Station, as a once car-dominated space has been redeveloped into a pedestrian-centric oasis. Reopened in November 2023 as Namba Square, this 2,400-square-meter space is now a pedestrian-friendly base for exploring Namba, making it the entrance to Osaka's vibrant entertainment and nightlife.

As of December 2024, regulations for the space have now been relaxed and Namba Square is now available for event organizers to use for all kinds of events. With already dozens of successful events held here, Namba Square is poised to become a premier location for diverse events, further elevating Namba's reputation as a vibrant and dynamic district.
