Industrial and incentive tour platform Tech Tours Kansai guides its first tour

Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai is rapidly approaching, and with it comes a major boom for international business travel and the revival of the tourism industry. This major event is an ideal opportunity to showcase Osaka and Japan as a world-class meeting and event destination. In anticipation of Expo 2025 and the opportunities it will bring, in 2023 the Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau, in collaboration with the Kansai Innovation Center (MUIC Kansai), launched Tech Tours Kansai, a platform to provide travel services for industrial and incentive tours. We expect that many organizers, especially pavilion officials, government entities, and corporate incentive groups, will choose to host meetings and events in Osaka in conjunction with Expo 2025 to take advantage of the many business opportunities.

On May 16, in response to a request from a Chinese company to study the nursing care system in Japan, we arranged a visit to Shalom Co., Ltd., which operates paid nursing homes, provides long-term care insurance services, and offers disability welfare services in the city of Sakai, Osaka. Attendees gave overwhelmingly positive feedback about the experience, expressing their satisfaction with the visit, their appreciation for the warm hospitality, and their desire to remain in contact with their new business connections.
