MICE Professionals gathered for the 2nd Osaka MICE Academy Meeting this year, blending current students and alumni!

What is the Osaka MICE Academy?

The saka MICE Academy is an initiative to increase the knowledge and expertise of meetings and event professionals in Osaka and beyond. Every year, the Academy opens applications for aspiring companies and organizations to enroll their employees in the year-long program. Once enrolled students are invited to join bi-monthly seminars that delve into a variety of event industry related topics. The seminars are followed by an opportunity for the students and their supervisors to freely mingle with the other students and deepen the bonds between MICE professionals of all sectors.

What makes this meeting special?

This year marks the 8th Osaka MICE Academy. The first meeting occurred on May 26th and the most recent on July 7th. In principle, most meetings are open only to currently enrolled students and their supervisors; but occasionally, alumni of previous years are invited to join. July 7th celebrated one such occasion with 96 attendees, including over 30 alumni joining to meet fellow industry colleagues and forge new bonds, as well as speak on their previous experiences.
