2025 Global ICCA Ranking results are out!
Osaka makes Asia's top 19 and Japan's top 3 in ICCA's destination rankings!
To improve meeting and event services in Osaka, the Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau collects data and information on events happening across the region and reports this information to global authorities in the industry. ICCA (the International Congress and Convention Association) is a global community and knowledge hub for the international association and governmental meetings industry that annually releases a report on the number of meetings held in each major destination worldwide.
ICCA recently released their Country and City Rankings for 2025, a report widely considered an industry standard. Osaka increased the number of ICCA-eligible international and regional association meetings from last year by 8 and is now ranked 19 out of all the Asia-Pacific destinations. Among all of Japan, the city is ranked third. Osaka continues working to improve its global standing leading up to the greatly anticipated Integrated Resort, showcasing the flexibility to hold a variety of events, including adapting to new global standards in sustainability.
