Four Seasons Hotel Osaka Overview

Four Seasons Hotel Osaka lies inside a stunning 49-story tower that evokes the image of a ship's sail, towering high over Osaka's abundant waterways. Occupying 12 floors of the iconic One Dojima building, this luxurious hotel offers 175 elegantly appointed guest rooms, including the unique GENSUI 玄水 concept, which reimagines the traditional Japanese inn for modern travelers. Guests can indulge in a variety of culinary experiences at five distinct restaurants and bars, unwind in the 16-meter indoor pool, or rejuvenate in the spa, complete with a soothing hot bath, sauna, and private bathing options. A 24-hour fitness center and five treatment rooms cater to wellness enthusiasts, while the hotel's banquet facilities are ideal for special events.

GENSUI 玄水 Floor and Guest Rooms

The first of its kind in the city, Four Seasons Hotel Osaka debuts the dedicated GENSUI 玄水 floor, a contemporary ryokan experience from the moment guests step off the elevator on the 28th floor. The entire floor houses 21 guest rooms and suites decorated as a contemporary interpretation of ryokan culture, including tatami mat flooring, sliding doors within each space, a platform bed (rather than the traditional roll on the floor), and a dining area that allows for traditional or standard seating. Located on the same floor, SABO Lounge is exclusively for GENSUI floor guests who can indulge in Japanese style breakfast, coffee and Japanese tea selections throughout the day and evening drinks and wine.

An additional 154 rooms and suites are spread through the 29th to 35th floors. Designed in a light, airy style that welcomes sunlight in through large windows, most accommodations have a thoughtfully-placed window seat to enjoy the views of the city, rivers and waterways. The Hotel’s guest accommodations and its public spaces showcase a contemporary art collection curated by talented local artists and artisans.

Productive Meetings and Memorable Special Events

Meeting planners and wedding couples will be inspired by the possibilities of the versatile second floor event spaces at Four Seasons, featuring a 220 square meter (2,400 square foot) naturally-lit Grand Ballroom that can be divided into two or three smaller spaces. A beautifully designed Garden Terrace can be reached from the ballroom or the generous pre-function space, ideal for cocktail receptions and meeting breaks. Restrooms and a cloak room are conveniently adjacent on the same floor, which can be reached either via elevator, or a picture-perfect staircase from the Hotel’s main lobby.

For more intimate gatherings, the 37th floor Sky Salon stands out as an opulent expression of modern Japan, complete with its own open kitchen and bar, as well as a private restroom. Lustrous finishes and dazzling skyline views suggest high-level business meetings by day, and glittering social events by night.

Spa and Wellness

Designated as the wellness zone, the 36th floor of the Hotel includes a spa with five treatment rooms, and sauna. Both the 16 meter (952 foot) indoor pool and fully-equipped fitness center will offer inspiring views to enhance one’s workout routines. A key part of the wellness offering is a series of public and private ofuro (Japanese baths) in the ryokan tradition.

Destination Dining

Four Seasons presents five dining and drinking options. Jiang Nan Chun offers an authentic Cantonese dining experience in an interactive setting that includes one private and two semi-private dining rooms. Also located on the 37th floor for a distinctly elevated dining experience is Sushi L'Abysse Osaka, a premier sushi restaurant by 15 Michelin star chef Yannick Alléno, with a sleek wooden counter as well as a private dining room; and Bar Bota, with a dramatic circular bar surrounded by the city’s sparkling skyline.

On the building’s first floor, Jardin is an all-day dining option featuring an international breakfast, exquisite afternoon tea and French bistro classics with al fresco seating amid lush landscaping. Rounding out the culinary offering, Farine is an artisanal bakery perfect for picking up pastries and specialty coffees on the run.
