Waldorf Astoria Osaka has been recognized as one of the world's leading luxury hotels, earning the No. 89 position in the 2026 Extended List (Ranks 51-100) of The World's 50 Best Hotels, published by 50 Best.

Introduced in 2025, the Extended List celebrates an additional 50 outstanding hotels beyond the main Top 50 ranking, highlighting exceptional properties across six continents that are shaping the future of the global hospitality industry. The rankings are determined by votes cast by more than 800 independent travel and hospitality experts who form The World's 50 Best Hotels Academy.

Waldorf Astoria Osaka opened in April 2025 at Grand Green Osaka, marking the debut of Hilton's iconic Waldorf Astoria brand in Japan. As the first Japanese property under the luxury brand that has welcomed discerning travelers for more than 130 years, the hotel offers an exceptional blend of timeless elegance and contemporary sophistication.
